What is the Brazil Immersion Camp?

The Brazil Immersion Camp is a two-week curated Jiu-Jitsu experience hosted by black belt Victor Oliveira, combining world-class training, cultural exploration, and connection with the birthplace of Jiu-Jitsu.

When and where does it take place?

The 2026 edition runs January 19–31, 2026, across three key locations in Brazil:

  • São Paulo – Seminars and city experiences

  • Ubatuba (Itamambuca Beach) – Beach training and nature immersion

  • Campinas – Academy training and community sessions

Who can join the camp?

The camp is open to all levels — from white to black belt — and welcomes both men and women.
You don’t need to be an Alliance member to join.

How do I register?

Click “Apply Now” on the website and complete the short form.
After your application is reviewed, you’ll receive an email with payment options and next steps.

What’s included in the camp package?

  • Daily Jiu-Jitsu training sessions with top instructors

  • Seminars with special guests (including Alliance leaders)

  • Accommodation and Transportation (depending on package)

  • Cultural experiences and guided excursions

  • Exclusive camp rashguard

What’s not included?

  • Flights to/from Brazil

  • Travel insurance

  • Personal expenses and free-time meals

  • Lodging in São Paulo and Campinas

Can I attend only part of the camp?

Yes. We offer Week 1, Week 2, or Full Camp options.
Spaces are limited for each, so early registration is encouraged.

Do I need a visa to travel to Brazil?

Travel requirements vary by country.
Visitors from the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Japan currently require an electronic visa (e-Visa).
We recommend checking your country’s most recent entry rules.

What airport should I fly into?

  • For Week 1 (São Paulo): GRU – São Paulo Guarulhos International Airport

  • For Week 2 (Campinas): VCP – Viracopos International Airport or GRU

Do I need to speak Portuguese?

No! The camp is fully bilingual (English & Portuguese).
All classes and tours are guided in English.

What’s the refund policy?

Deposits are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to another participant or future camp.
Full payment terms are detailed in your confirmation email.

Is this camp suitable for solo travelers?

Absolutely. Many participants come solo — the camp is designed to create community from day one.

What should I bring?

  • 2–3 Gis and at least one No-Gi set

  • Swimwear and flip-flops

  • Sunscreen and bug repellent

  • Passport, travel insurance, and positive energy
